The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop entitled “The Annual Performance Evaluation Form and Guide,” as part of the College’s ongoing efforts to develop institutional performance and promote a culture of objective evaluation within the university environment.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Bairaq Hussein, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the contents of the annual performance evaluation form and the mechanisms for its implementation. She highlighted the most important indicators and criteria adopted in the evaluation process, as well as their role in measuring academic and administrative performance efficiency in line with quality requirements and institutional accreditation standards.
The workshop addressed several key topics, including the proper and accurate completion of the evaluation form, clarification of sections related to scientific, research, and administrative activities, in addition to answering participants’ questions and explaining potential challenges they may encounter during the evaluation process.
The Deanship of the College of Mass Communication affirmed that holding such workshops is part of its strategic plan to enhance the level of university performance and to consolidate the principles of transparency and professionalism in evaluation, thereby contributing to the development of the educational process and the achievement of the University’s goals in academic and administrative excellence
