The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, held a workshop entitled “E-Marketing Strategies on Social Media Platforms,” presented by Dr. Ali Muhannad Hamid, and attended by a number of students and faculty members.

The workshop focused on the core principles of e-marketing and highlighted key tools and effective strategies for reaching target audiences through various digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

The speaker addressed the process of designing successful marketing campaigns, measuring performance indicators, and utilizing digital analytics to enhance the online presence of institutions and brands. Practical examples and applied activities were presented, contributing to a clearer understanding and fostering interactive discussions with students.

The unit administration praised the students’ active participation, noting that such workshops contribute to developing the professional competencies of the college’s graduates, align with contemporary labor market requirements, and support the preparation of media professionals equipped with advanced digital marketing skills.

This workshop was organized as part of the College’s commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, “Quality Education,” and Goal 8, “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” by strengthening students’ digital skills and enhancing their employability.
