The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad has launched the training program for the “Renewed Path” Project, in cooperation with France Médias Monde, in a strategic step aimed at updating curricula and enhancing the quality of media education, in line with international standards and professional practices adopted by leading global media institutions.
This program is part of the academic collaboration between the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, and France Médias Monde. A number of faculty members teaching the first stage have already begun participating in the training course, which focuses on updating scientific content and adopting modern teaching methods that integrate both theoretical and practical aspects.
The program aims to develop faculty skills in modern journalism, digital media, and contemporary professional practices, helping to prepare students with critical thinking abilities and advanced media skills, capable of keeping pace with the rapidly evolving media environment both locally and internationally.
The College’s administration emphasized that the “Renewed Path” Project represents a qualitative leap in the structure of academic curricula and reflects the College’s orientation toward engaging with reputable international expertise and building effective partnerships that contribute to enhancing the educational process and the College’s standing among its peers.
The “Renewed Path” Project is one of the strategic initiatives adopted by the College of Mass Communication as part of its vision to modernize media education, ensure high-quality teaching, and equip the media sector with academically and professionally qualified competencies capable of meeting the demands of modern media and digital transformation.
