Dr. Hatem Al-Taie presented his book, “Tourism Media: Concepts and Functions,” to the Dean of the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, in recognition of the College’s role in supporting scientific and research activities and promoting specialized media studies.
During the presentation, Dr. Al-Taie expressed his pride in this initiative, stating that “the book aims to shed light on tourism media as a specialized branch of media, highlighting its active role in tourism promotion and building a positive mental image of tourist sites,” in addition to explaining its concepts, functions, and tools within the context of contemporary media transformations.
For his part, Dr. Ammar praised this scholarly initiative, emphasizing “the book’s content and its significance in enriching the media library with an academic work addressing a vital topic related to cultural and tourism development,” while reaffirming “the College of Mass Communication’s commitment to supporting authors and researchers and encouraging high-quality scientific production.”
