Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, Dean of the College of Mass Communication, chaired the Scientific Committee for the Media Track at the 10th International Scientific Conference of the Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage, organized by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research, with the participation of researchers and academics.
The committee discussed evaluation mechanisms for research papers submitted under the media track, particularly studies focusing on modern media, artificial intelligence applications, and digital transformation in Arbaeen media coverage, alongside smart media and international communication topics linked to the mass pilgrimage.
The conference seeks to highlight the educational and ethical dimensions of the Holy Arbaeen pilgrimage, while emphasizing the role of modern technologies in advancing media work and crowd management in line with global developments.
It also aims to open new research horizons that strengthen Arbaeen’s presence in media and digital platforms and promote academic exchange to present a comprehensive international image of the occasion.
