The Department of Radio and Television at the College of Mass Communication organized the 7th edition of the Mobile Journalism Forum under the slogan “MOJO Baghdad… Learn, Produce, Influence,” with official and academic attendance and wide participation from students interested in digital media.

The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs Professor Dr. Talib Abdul Majeed, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Ahmed Al-Qutbi, and Head of the Department of Radio and Television Professor Dr. Ali Abbas.

The forum reflects the college’s efforts to keep pace with modern developments in media, particularly Mobile Journalism (MOJO), which has become one of the leading production tools in global media institutions. The program included workshops and practical sessions focusing on mobile filming, report production, and editing using smartphones.

The forum also provided students with the opportunity to present and discuss their media projects, helping to develop their professional skills and field experience while encouraging innovation and teamwork in an environment simulating modern newsrooms.

The College of Mass Communication reaffirmed its commitment to supporting quality initiatives that prepare students for the evolving media job market, stressing the importance of the Mobile Journalism Forum as an effective training platform for enhancing digital media skills.
