The Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) presented a collection of specialized academic publications to the College of Mass Communication, including the ARIJ Guide for Investigative Journalism and the book “Investigative Reporting,” in a step aimed at supporting academic development and strengthening students’ investigative journalism skills.
The college received the publications, regarded among the leading professional references in investigative journalism, as they provide scientific foundations and practical methodologies that help students and journalists produce accurate and objective investigative reports.
The initiative reflects the growing cooperation between the College of Mass Communication and ARIJ, which seeks to develop students’ capabilities and prepare them to meet the demands of modern media, particularly investigative journalism as a key pillar in uncovering facts and promoting transparency.
The college deanship reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation with reputable Arab media institutions to exchange expertise and provide students with advanced professional skills that enhance their presence in the media job market.
This cooperation also aligns with the college’s commitment to supporting sustainable development goals through promoting transparency, accountability, and responsible media in serving society and building public awareness, in line with the university’s vision of preparing a professional media generation that contributes to comprehensive development.
