Dean of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, Professor Ammar Taher Mohammed, received the Head of the Academics Syndicate – Rusafa Branch, Dr. Mohammed Hashem Khwaiter Al-Rubaie, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation in support of academic progress and the promotion of scientific and cultural activities.
The meeting addressed the importance of strengthening ties between academic and syndicate institutions, as well as organizing joint programs and events aimed at developing the educational environment and supporting researchers and academics. The two sides also discussed expanding cooperation in various scientific and intellectual fields.
During the visit, Dr. Al-Rubaie presented the Dean with a copy of his book, which offers a historical study of political relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, highlighting key political developments and transformations in the relationship between the two countries over several decades.
For his part, Professor Ammar Taher Mohammed praised the scientific initiative, stressing the importance of supporting academic and research publications that enrich scholarly libraries with valuable studies. He also commended Dr. Al-Rubaie’s intellectual and academic contributions.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides emphasized the importance of continued communication and cooperation in a way that serves academic institutions and contributes to advancing scientific and cultural standards.
