Al-Attiyah, News Delegation Director at Dijlah Satellite Channel, in a specialized workshop on news writing mechanisms and practical experience in television media work, as part of the “Renewed Path” project aimed at strengthening practical training and developing students’ skills.

The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Mass Communication, Professor Ammar Taher Mohammed, and supervised by Professor Irada Zeidan Al-Jubouri and Assistant Professor Bairaq Hussein Jumaa, alongside a large number of first-year students from the college’s three academic departments.

During the workshop, Al-Attiyah discussed the key skills required for journalists working in media institutions and the methods of writing television news according to professional standards. He also shared insights from his experience inside newsrooms and highlighted the challenges facing field journalism.

The session included interactive discussions with students on news writing techniques and news content production. Al-Attiyah also provided professional advice on journalistic work, dealing with news sources, and improving media performance within satellite channels.

The workshop is part of a series of activities organized by the College of Mass Communication to engage with professional media expertise and enhance students’ skills across various media specializations.
