The College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, has invited its students to participate in the Fourth Annual Arbaeen Art Festival, held in conjunction with the commemoration of the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The initiative reflects the College’s commitment to fostering creativity, enhancing students’ artistic and cultural skills, and encouraging them to produce meaningful works that reflect the humanitarian and cultural values of the occasion.
The festival includes a variety of categories, including visual arts, literature and creative writing, theatre, cinema, photography, graphic design, Arabic calligraphy, Qur’an recitation, and Husseini Radda (religious elegiac recitation). The event provides students with an opportunity to showcase their talents and compete in a creative environment that promotes both artistic and media excellence.
The College’s Deanship announced that the deadline for submissions is 25 Safar, urging students wishing to participate to comply with the festival’s artistic requirements and submit their entries within the specified period to contribute to the success of this cultural and artistic event.
