The College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad has announced the results of its 11th annual survey for 2025, ranking the best government and non-government institutions from the perspective of the Iraqi public. The survey was organized by the Department of Public Relations and attended by prominent government, academic and media figures.

According to the survey results, the Passport Affairs Directorate at the Ministry of Interior ranked first, followed by the Public Health Directorate at the Ministry of Health in second place, while private hospitals ranked third.

The announcement ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, Dean of the College of Mass Communication, several members of the Iraqi Parliament, official spokespersons for ministries and government institutions, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, alongside prominent academic, media and professional figures.

The College of Mass Communication emphasized that the survey represents a credible scientific tool for measuring public opinion and reflects its commitment to promoting a culture of fair evaluation and recognizing government and non-government institutions according to their performance and contribution to serving the public.

The Department of Public Relations explained that the survey is part of the College’s vision to connect academic research with institutional practice, support the country’s efforts toward reform and reconstruction, and strengthen trust between institutions and society.

The event concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the winning institutions, with attendees praising the academic and professional role played by the College of Mass Communication in promoting the concepts of public opinion and institutional communication.
