Professor Ammar Taher Mohammed, Dean of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, met on Monday with undergraduate student representatives to discuss issues related to academic life and students’ needs.

The meeting addressed the key observations and suggestions raised by student representatives, as well as the challenges they face in their academic departments. The Dean also listened to their views on improving the university environment and enhancing the services provided to students.

The Dean emphasized the importance of direct communication with students, describing their feedback and suggestions as essential to identifying and addressing problems. He also stressed the need to follow up on the issues raised in coordination with the relevant College authorities.

The meeting is part of the College administration’s efforts to strengthen communication with students and provide an opportunity for dialogue on academic and student-related matters. It also supports United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting a learning environment that responds to students’ needs and involves them in discussions about their academic journey.
