Professor Ammar Taher Mohammed, Dean of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, met with representatives of master’s and doctoral students from the Departments of Digital Journalism, Radio and Television, and Public Relations.
The meeting addressed several academic and administrative matters concerning graduate students. The Dean listened to their feedback and suggestions on study requirements and academic research, as well as the challenges they face during the preparatory stage.
The Dean emphasized the importance of direct communication with graduate students, following up on their academic needs, and creating suitable conditions to help them complete the preparatory year smoothly. This would enable them to finalize their research topics, select supervisors for their theses and dissertations, and conduct their research in accordance with established academic standards.
The meeting is part of the College’s efforts to enhance the quality of higher education and scientific research, in line with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, particularly its emphasis on providing a supportive academic environment for learning, research, and scholarly development.
