In response to the directives of Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, the Presidency of the University of Baghdad organized a protest and mourning event today, Wednesday, in solidarity with the innocent lives lost in the Zionist attack on Al-Mu’madani Hospital in the Gaza Strip, in the sister state of Palestine.
The College of Media at the University of Baghdad witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from the students who expressed their strong support for the Palestinian people and their strong condemnation of the Zionist crimes targeting innocents in Palestine. This protest comes within the framework of the strong solidarity between the Iraqi and Palestinian people.
In statements from some of the students participating in the protest, they emphasized the importance of supporting the Palestinian cause and standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of Zionist aggressions and violations. They also stressed that the Iraqi people stand alongside their brothers in Palestine in these difficult and painful moments.
This protest embodies a strong message from the Iraqi people and its youth to the world that they stand firmly and in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and they will never forget their just cause, continuing to defend it with all their strength and determination.
