The Continuous Education Unit organized a workshop titled “Digital Violence against Women,” which was expertly presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Al-Shujairi. The workshop focused on reviewing the main causes, dimensions, and various types of digital violence targeting women and how it affects women’s lives. It also discussed ways to reduce the risk of this type of violence and the role of local legislation in combating it. This workshop is in line with achieving the fifth goal of sustainable development, which is promoting gender equality and reducing violence against women. The workshop concluded with the necessary recommendations aimed at increasing awareness of this type of violence and directing collective efforts to reduce it. This workshop reflects the efforts made to raise awareness of women’s issues and promote gender equality in society.
