The College of Media at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop titled “Student Creativity in Crises/Events: Gaza Sector as a Model” today, Tuesday, as part of the activities for the second day of Entrepreneurship Week. This workshop, supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Rana Al-Shajari, aims to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit and encourage students to express their creativity in the face of challenges and humanitarian crises. The event was characterized by its diversity and active participation from the students.
During the workshop, a selection of short films produced by students of the College of Media was presented. These films reflected the suffering of the Gaza Strip due to the brutal Zionist aggression, with students providing sensitive and impactful media insights highlighting the difficult conditions faced by the Palestinian people.
The workshop was attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and the scientific assistant to the dean for academic affairs, Professor Dr. Shukriya Kawkaz Al-Sarraj. She emphasized the importance of such events in promoting the creative aspect and developing students’ skills in the field of media.
This workshop represents a significant step in building communication bridges between students and the media community, reinforcing the college’s role in developing media competencies and stimulating a spirit of creativity and innovation among ambitious youth.
