Dean of the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ammar Taher Mohammed, received the official in charge of the Government Communication File, Mohammed Hanoon, during an official visit aimed at discussing prospects for joint cooperation between the two sides to support media development and enhance modern government communication programs.
The meeting addressed several key issues related to developing media skills among the college’s students and the possibility of organizing specialized workshops and training courses to prepare students in line with the demands of the media job market. Discussions also focused on strengthening cooperation in training and professional fields that contribute to building an effective national media discourse.
The Dean stressed the importance of openness and cooperation with official institutions in a way that supports the educational process and provides students with broader opportunities to engage with professional experiences and practical expertise, noting that the College of Mass Communication continuously seeks to reinforce its academic and professional role in serving society and state institutions.
For his part, Mohammed Hanoon praised the academic and media role played by the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, affirming his support for initiatives aimed at developing students’ skills and promoting the concept of modern government communication in line with rapid developments in the media field.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides expressed their aspiration to establish future partnerships and cooperation programs that contribute to supporting students and developing the media and academic environment in the public interest.
